Mileage log template
Record trips and odometer readings, total the distance, and enter an optional reimbursement rate. Print a blank or completed mileage log on Letter or A4 paper.
How to use this mileage log
Enter the driver and vehicle. Set the log period if needed. For each trip, enter the date, destination or purpose, and start and end odometer readings. The form subtracts the start reading from the end reading and adds the distances.
Enter your own reimbursement rate if you need a reimbursement total. Leave it blank to omit the amount. The form does not supply a rate. It multiplies the total distance by your rate and rounds once to the nearest cent, with half cents rounded up.
Choose miles or kilometers and one currency in Settings. Changing these labels does not convert entries. Add up to 40 rows. Remove a row with its remove button. Undo restores the last removed row. Clear the form asks for confirmation.
Choose Letter or A4 in Settings. Use Print for the completed log, or Print blank form for labels and empty rows. To save a PDF, use your browser's print dialog. Your entries stay in this tab. Print before closing or reloading it.
Entry limits
Odometer readings accept up to two decimal places, from 0 to 999,999,999.99. The end reading cannot be less than the start reading. Trips must fall within the period when you enter one. Rates accept up to four decimal places, from 0 to 999,999.9999. Leave unused rows empty.
Trip descriptions support 1,000 characters. Notes support 4,000. Long logs continue onto more pages. Check the browser's print preview before printing.
